In February 2024 the students who participate in the 21st Century after school program at Dieruff High School in Allentown, PA participated in my Fiber Living Wall Program. Students learned both wet felting and needle felting to create a range of tropical leaves, flowers and mushroom sculptures to donate to the collective project. Students were able to make two pieces and keep one of them to remember the project by and give the other away to be added to the living wall that now hangs above the classroom that hosts the after school program.
