Create your own functional felted bird house made entirely of wool during this wet felting and needle felting workshop! Using the ancient art of wet felting, a technique where wool is combined with hot water, olive oil soap and is then agitated, you will create a three dimensional wooly bird house! This technique, once learned, can be applied to the creation of hats, slippers and more. You will also learn how to needle felt to create further detail on your bird house such as imagery, patterns and three dimensional textures! Fee for the workshop includes all materials. There is a minimum number of participants for the workshop to run, so preregistration is required.
